Social and Emotional Development Support

Early Childhood Connections’ Social and Emotional Development services support early childhood teachers, students, and families in the teaching and learning process of social emotional skills.

These foundational skills help manage challenging behaviors and strengthen relationships to ensure children enter kindergarten confident, capable, and ready to succeed.

Why SEL Matters

Children aren’t born with social-emotional skills, but their brains are primed from birth to develop them through nurturing interactions.

Parents, caregivers, and teachers play a critical role in helping children learn how to manage emotions, form friendships, and navigate challenges, especially in early childhood.
