Children will be chosen to participate in Starting Strong Rapid City based on a number of factors, including financial need. Starting Strong scholarships will help offset the costs of preschool for those selected. Preschool scholarships do not cover additional childcare costs.

Parents of children selected for the program will choose from among the participating preschool providers who meet the Starting Strong Rapid City Program Standards.

Parents must be willing to take part in the Starting Strong program as described in the attached form: Expectations for Parents.
