Grow Your Program with ERS: A Data-Driven Quality Improvement Planning Tool

Instructor: Jessi Beedle

This course provides a clear and straightforward explanation of how the Environment Rating Scales (ERS) assess quality in early childhood settings. This session highlights the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS) and early childhood leaders, administrators, and center-based staff will also find the content relevant and applicable to their own programs. Participants will explore the origins and intent behind the ERS tools, learn how the scales reflect high-quality early learning experiences, and reflect on how these concepts apply to their own environment. We will begin developing an action plan using ERS indicators to guide meaningful, data-informed quality improvements.
