3-D Art with Young Children

Instructor: Jen Ennis

What qualifies as 3D art for young children and why does it matter? In this engaging online workshop, participants will explore the key characteristics of 3-dimensional art as defined by the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scales (ECERS). Together, we’ll look at practical examples, discuss how different materials and processes support children’s creativity, and consider ways to offer meaningful 3D art opportunities in early childhood settings. This interactive session will spark ideas, deepen understanding, and inspire educators to expand the variety of art experiences they provide.
